The White vs. Colored Light Debate in the Aftermath of the 2024 Election
Dino Dan - Made New Media
The 2024 election was a rollercoaster of emotions, a political circus that left us both amazed, wide eyed and distressed. From the outlandish & nonstop campaign promises to jaw-dropping scandals, including murder for hire plots & government officials normalizing the advancement of mind control, with the help of AI and unlimited funds, lol. What a wild ride how this country has shifted the election process and presidency into a pay per view, streaming event! Entertainment, for the people.
But as the dust settles, one thing remains constant: the enduring spirit of the holiday season. Right? That’s why this age old common household discussion is coming up early this year in our household, even before Thanksgiving. The great divide of the Christmas lights!
So I was thinking as we transition from the chaos of this past political season to the calmness (or chaos) of Christmas, let’s embrace the magic of the season. Whether you prefer a classic white Christmas or a colorful holiday extravaganza, this is the year that we must stand together and unite!
My wife decorates with the most lovely, classic, beautiful whites and I love just a crazy colored light show mashup on the eyes, so this year we have merged up to unite our lighting stances.
This is officially the After Election Season. I like to call it, The Pleasing Season. And I say this in good reason *coughing up my advertising voice* as I unwind another string of Christmas lights, sippin’ my hot coco. Let me show you something bussin! This Magical String Light set right here has the most unique, one of a kind Christmas scenes right inside of them! This Snow Globe Light Set, has that mix of a classic warm white glow, but also this splash of vibrant colors splurged all up in the scene. Like JB once said, wow!
Both white and colored lovers will adore this winter wonderland encapsulated in glass! Each bulb holds a miniature scene, a reminder of the beauty of this season approaching. Whether you’re a team colored or minimalist white lover, these lights add a touch of magic to any space.
Save The Drama For Someone Else!
Forget the red vs. blue debate. This holiday season, let’s bridge the divide with a dazzling display of lights.
The age-old debate rages on: white or colored Christmas lights? It’s a battle as fierce as any political rivalry.
Team White: These purists believe in the elegance of simplicity. They prefer the clean, crisp look of white lights, arguing that they create a sophisticated and timeless atmosphere. It’s like the minimalist aesthetic of Christmas lighting.
Team Color: On the other hand, we have the colorful crew. They believe in a more exuberant approach to holiday decor. They see Christmas lights as an opportunity to unleash their inner child and create a festive wonderland.
So, which side are you on? Will you embrace the minimalist charm of white lights or indulge in the festive frenzy of colored lights? The choice is yours, but remember, there’s no right or wrong answer, unless your spouse is on the other side. So if that’s the case, here are some neutral blended light ideas for you to share with that spouse of yours.
This Is How You Compromise. Go Old School Choose Calm Colors You Keep It Classy
As technology advanced, the introduction of LED lights revolutionized the market. These energy-efficient options allowed families to brighten their homes without the concern of rising electricity bills. Today, lighting displays have become a competitive endeavor, with many neighborhoods showcasing extravagant synchronized light shows. This colorful history enriched the modern discussion of Christmas lights, setting the stage for the ongoing debate of white versus colored lights, each imbued with its own significance and charm. In all reality, I don’t care what you like, have fun with this debate this year my fellow friends. Hope this can bring some ideas for you to unite teams, so you don’t go out looking like Tyson.
